Founded in 2015, SCC’s mission is to develop and deliver the full scope of RCC services defined by ENTSO-E’s framework and European Network Codes, ensuring the highest operational planning standards across South East Europe.

SCC works in close partnership with TSOs and other European RCCs — continuously improving its services, developing common tools, and enabling seamless coordination. The ultimate goal is to achieve resource savings for TSOs and to raise the quality of regional coordination, thereby strengthening the security of the transmission system.

SCC’s vision is to enable safer and more secure transmission system operation in South East Europe, and to contribute to the development of the regional electricity market and its integration into the pan-European electricity market.

As one of six coordination centres within the ENTSO-E framework, SCC is committed to meeting pan-European service quality standards while addressing the specific needs and challenges of the SEE region.
